Staffing

  • Assuming you are not just running BAPHL with your usual BAPHL teammates, you will want to recruit people for puzzles, design, and management
    • It is helpful to decide on team members' roles. Suggested roles:
      • Project Manager
      • Lead Puzzle designer/Meta designer
      • Puzzle editor
      • Testsolving manager
      • Website designer
      • Art designer
  • Think about how much extra staffing you will need to run the event, which will depend on how many locations you want to manage, and potentially start recruiting for that ahead of time as well

Planning

  • Set deadlines
    • Start with a projected hunt date and work backwards
  • Schedule regular meetings
    • It helps to have an agenda for meetings
  • Decide on theme/meta and location before beginning puzzle development
